Educating and Researching on Anti-Aging Medicine: Dr. Dov Rand

As a dedicated educator and researcher in the field of anti-aging medicine, Dov Rand maintains a membership in a number of related medical organizations and is involved in helping to grow and develop the field of research and practice related to age management and anti-aging medicine. Dov Rand graduated from Howard University in 1991 and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in 1995. Since becoming involved in the field of age management and anti-aging medicine in 2007, Dov Rand has rapidly expanded his knowledge of and involvement in this field by attending conferences and trainings, conducting seminars on the topic, and founding the Healthy Aging Medical Centers in West Orange, New Jersey.

Dr. Dov Rand maintains memberships in two of the leading age management associations, the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) and the Age Management Medicine Group (AMMG). A4M is a nonprofit organization with over 26,000 members, and includes healthcare professionals, scientists, government officials, and members of the general public. A4M is a US-based organization but represents an international membership from over 110 countries. The organization hosts conferences, educates healthcare professionals, and supports technologies and research intended to help aid the prevention and treatment of aging-related degenerative diseases. AMMG also educates healthcare professionals on age management medicine, and provides a variety of resources – such as workshops, publications, and web media – in order to support the work of professionals in the field.

Dov Rand supports the growing work and research in the age management field through active participation in these medical organizations. Dr. Dov Rand has conducted seminars for the general public on anti-aging medicine, incorporating the research and studies being presented in a variety of conferences and workshops hosted by the AAMG and A4M. Dov Rand feels that attending these conferences is a critical part of maintaining his expertise and high quality care in the field; he says, “I can’t give my patients the optimal treatment if I don’t know the newest studies about new technologies or medicines emerging in the field, or new developments in anti-aging medical strategies.”
